TO increase the enjoyment and appreciation of fine chocolate, the Koko Black Chocolate Society invites Canberra connoisseurs to experience its “Winter Evenings of Indulgence” on August 6 and 7 at its Canberra Centre salon.
Koko Black founder Shane Hills will impart his passion for chocolate (disproving the theory that you can’t mix business with pleasure).
Expert chocolatier Kim Linssen, of The Netherlands, will demonstrate the art of chocolate-making, and Nilanka Nanayakkara, formerly a professional Sri Lankan tea taster, will provide instruction in chocolate tasting and how to recognise different percentages of cocoa.
The events include tastings of a selection of chocolates, beverages and “delicious surprises”.
Cost is $50 a ticket and bookings are essential. Phone Marcia on 03 9354 0720 or email .
