Have a ball, cleaning
Published in Lifestyle - Home on 24 July, 2008

DYSON’S new DC24 Ball is a lightweight, compact vacuum cleaner designed for people who have smaller living or storage spaces.
It uses full-size Dyson Radix Cyclone technology to provide constant power, and Dyson ball innovation to manoeuvre around furniture with a turn of the wrist.
Dyson engineers replaced wheels with a ball to provide maximum steering ease, like a computer mouse.
The DC24 Ball compresses by one-third of its height when not in use for compact storage.
Just like all other Dyson vacuum cleaners, there are no bags or filters to buy. The DC24 Ball has washable filters and a trigger bin-emptying system, where, with the press of a button, the dust and dirt can be emptied directly into the bin.
Hygienic, asthma and allergy friendly, it is accepted by the National Asthma Council Australia “Sensitive Choice” program.
The Dyson DC24 Ball ($649) and the DC25 Ball ($849) will be available from August 1.
